Amori Sfigati

“Amori Sfigati” is a project on Facebook and Instagram that has been hugely popular online for over 20 years, with around 300,000 followers.

Every day I publish a cartoon about losing, impossible and ironic love, laying bare the couple’s dynamics and revealing their fragilities with sharp insight, tenderness, and plenty of humor. Two characters exchange a few hilarious lines that strike like cheerful torpedoes and make you think.

The Amori Sfigati cartoons have been published in many Italian newspapers and magazines. I also worked on the comedic radio column “Oroscopi Sfigati” and gave a talk on the theme of love at TED Italia in 2000.

With my cartoons, I won the Premio Andrea Pazienza as Best Web Author.
